BeeConn is a wireless control device which ena bles beekeepers to regularly monitor and obtain current information on activities in a beehive.
COLLECTION. The device uses its weighing sensors to periodically
measure the weight of beehives and monitors weather conditions through
the BeeConn weather station. Via GPRS or WiFi, the measured data are
sent to a gateway and an external server. This enables a beekeeper to
access the data through gateway’s screen, via SMS messages, mobile and
web application at any time.
INFORMATION TO A BEEKEEPER. Once a day, at a specific time, the device
automatically sends SMS messages on issues related to individual hives,
their average weight and the difference in weight compared to the
previous day, and the current temperature. Of course, the respective
data can be obtained via an SMS message at any time.
Access to more detailed and more transparent data is also possible through mobile and web application which provides an overview of the last measurements, past measurements and data display in the form of graphs, tables or reports.
